Please Chance Me

This is my first post.

I'm a white female who lives in the PHL suburbs. I attend a small, very good private school. About 20 percent of the class has National Merit recognition. The school does not rank students or give a grade point average.

I am mostly a solid B student. My best subjects are in language arts. My worst are in math. I have taken math through pre-calculus. I have no AP or honors classes (but I would have to argue that almost all of the classes I take at my school would probably be honors or AP classes in many if not most public high schools). I would estimate my GPA for the 4 years to be about a 3.3. I have never received a grade lower than a B.

My SAT scores: CR 700 Math 580 Writing 660 I haven't taken any other standardized tests, and I don't plan to.

ECs include chorus and drama-related activities (including lead roles in school productions), sports (varsity volleyball, dance, cheerleading).

Here is my list. Thanks to all in advance--I really appreciate it.

Tufts
Boston University
Brandeis
Clark University
Austin College
Trinity University (San Antonio)
Temple

BUMP–please chance me. I’m getting all of my applications for RD ready to submit.

Your ECs are pretty good for the colleges that you are applying. Your GPA is fairly decent.

Out of your list, I only know about 4 of the 7 colleges:

Tufts - reach (With a 1940 for SAT and no rigorous courses, it will be very difficult to get in Tufts without something that is outstanding/extraordinary.)

BU - match

Brandeis - high match (Brandeis is mainly a liberal arts school and your SAT scores will help indicate your strengths in the social sciences through CR and W. The M section might hurt your chances though in addition with your lack of rigorous courses.)

Clark - match

I’m also perplexed that you haven’t taken any SAT II’s considering how some of these colleges require SAT II’s. I know this for a fact because I’ve recently sent my college applications to BU and Tufts for RD, which also require two SAT II scores along with the SAT I Reasoning Test.
