other information

low income family (i think 50-60K)

he is from california

top 10% in class of 750

he is a male (i know for a fact this plays a role because guys are the minority in college ive read it is a small advantage but an advantage none the less)

since he’s choosing biological sciences …UCSD is extremely impacted and would be considered as low reach/match.
I think he’s in for the rest of the colleges he is apply to.

The others will be tough with that UC GPA this year. They are all taking fewer freshmen and their average UC GPA last year was 4.0 or very close.

thats fall 2008 and he is applying for fall 2010 2 years can make a alot of difference. again is reasonable to assume that everything on post 9 is correct?
