Please guide me in SAT subject test study materials...

Allright - I'm planning to take the Math 2c, literature, and biology tests in October. I would like to get near perfect scores; could you please recommend some books to help me do this?

Math 2c-

Literature- (Is this test anything like the CR from the SAT1?)

Biology-

THANKS!!!

Bio - Kaplan
Math IIC - Barron's

Yes, Math Level 2 - Barron's (there are mistakes, but its harder than the real thing which is good prep.)

Barron's it is for math level 2, thanks.

For bio, assume I'm starting with no knowledge of the subject.

kaplan teaches you everything you need to know. but I recommend getting TPR book for bio as well if you are starting w/no knowledge - TPR book is SO much easier to understand. If you have time, read TPR first, and the kaplan one will make more sense - but it's not a must or anything. :)

Thanks for the advice, I'll probably get that too.

Now what about lit?

I am quite well read I think. My mom has Easton Press's collection of the 100 greatest books ever written, about 2/3 of which I've read. Any specific study books you all would recommend?

what is TPR? thanks

The Princeton Review.

I second oneday. PR simplifies concepts well and has lots of pictures! Woohoo! You can even color them if you want. Barron's, on the other hand, is a waste of time, since it's full of extraneous topics and is more often than not intimidating to people with little background in biology.
