Hi!
I am a little worried about my 10th grade scores as they are average according to indian standards.
My Grades:
9th - 9 CGPA
10th - 8.6 CGPA(Hindi and SST screwed me)
11th - 85%
12th - 94%(Predicted)
How screwed am I?? I am aiming for the Ivies and Stanford… My EC’s are good.
Any inputs will be appreciated.

Hate to burst your bubble, but don’t keep any hopes from the ivies or Stanford
Since you’re international, your shot at these elite schools are already lowered, and your scores probably aren’t going to help your chances. Try getting some really unique extra-curriculars under your belt, apply, and see what happens. However, if you are certain you want to come to the U.S. for school, definitely apply to some safeties as well.

I’ve already given my board exams and I’m expecting 90+, so would that make up for a bad 10th grade cgpa? Also I have a friend who got into Princeton with a 9 cgpa in 10th his initials spell PS. I don’t know if you know him…
