If you had to pick b/t Duke and University of Pennsylvania, which would you pick, and why? (for a major in biology and history)

<p>YAH, I have the same problem.</p>
<p>Duke. Both are great schools. I prefer Duke's location over being in Philadelphia. I don't like the way that Philadelphia looks. I don't like it's climate or crime rate.</p>
<p>Plusses of Philly are its closeness to major cities in the NE, but for me, that proximity wouldn't make living in Philly worth it.</p>
<p>Duke-better academics,better med school,better alumni network,nicer campus,and much better weather.</p>
<p>Penn! The campus is beautiful, and the so called "crime" feels like heresay after I visited. The campus integrates with the city quite well, but Penn still retains that true collegiate feel. Like with any urban center, you just have to keep your wits about you and not do anything stupid (in response to "crime")</p>
<p>Penn if Huntsman, Duke otherwise just because it's one of those schools grads love and rave about.</p>
<p>duke because i just love it. it's been my dream school forever. too bad i was not accepted. penn is also very nice. but duke has an amazing campus, academics are topnotch. but both are great schools, you could not go wrong with either. congratulations and good luck!</p>
<p>Penn's campus is beautiful! And I think it's the way to go if prestige is at all a concern for you.</p>
