UNC-CH’s admit rate for OOS was 19% in 2015.

I attended UNC-CH and I’d put the sports orientation on par with Duke, Northwestern and possibly Penn to some level. I think that you’ll find at any mid to larger university that there are enough students that have little interest in sports that just because the school has a major sports program it doesn’t dominate everyone’s day-to-day life.

@Dolemite thank you for that information! I will look into UNC-CH then; the tuition seems to be more affordable than most schools of its caliber. I do have interest in sports games for team spirit, just for some schools, the people on sports teams are treated like “gods” while everyone else is just there to support them…and that’s definitely not the kind of school I’m looking for!
