Please help me set a realistic goal for myself

Hello! I am currently a high school sophomore, and I have no idea if I’m doing well for college admissions. It would be nice if I could go to a T20 school, but realistically my GPA is probably already too low for that, so I just wanna know where I stand in comparison to other people, and the types of colleges that I would realistically have a chance at being accepted to.

  • UW GPA: 3.7
  • Weighted GPA: N/A (My school doesn't generate one)
  • APs: Planning on having 12 done once I graduate, school doesn't give any to freshman so I don't have any AP scores yet
  • Class Rank: Probably in the top 1/3, my school doesn't report (I attend a top HS in NYC, so it's chalk full of overachievers lol)
  • Intended major: Astrophysics
  • No SAT/SAT2 yet (supposed to take SAT chem this summer)

ECs:

  • Currently in student government (guaranteed to have leadership position junior/senior year)
  • Volunteer work in a religious institution
  • Was supposed to volunteer in the library this summer (probably not gonna happen though  )
  • Currently in the beginning of producing a research paper, should be finished by the beginning of my senior year
  • In the school track team
  • In stage crew and a small robotics club, nothing special about these though

My ECs are really weak atm, but I hope to do more over the summer/next school year (me and some of my friends are currently working on a physics club, though that’s still more of an idea than something that is guaranteed to happen).

Ok you have very good grades, but a T20 is basically ivy’s and the top public’s Uof M, OC.,UNC and a few top Priv like Mit, Duke , Rice, Chicago so it is tough for anyone to get in there, I would spend time on acing the act and sat’s to help off set a somewhat ( for t20) gpa, do you have any hooks ?
