Please Help Me With A Situation

All,

I am very worried about my scheduling conflicts. Right now, I am signed up for the following classes:

IB English HL 1
IB Spanish SL 1
IB HOA HL 1
IB Math SL 1
IB Chemistry SL 2
IB Biology HL 1
Entrepreneurship 1 (DECA)

The thing is though, I am aspiring to become a junior EMT member in my local fire department. In order to do that, I will need to take a EMT class through school. The thing is, that class is a 2 period class, so I would have to drop a science and math off my schedule as well as entrepreneurship 1. However, if i drop entrepreneurship 1, I will not be able to do DECA. I have a great Idea for my DECA manuel, and I honestly believe it can be a national award winning project. So, if I were to change my schedule, does it look significantly worse than the one above??

IB English HL 1
IB HOA HL 1
IB Chemistry SL 2
IB Spanish SL 1
Entrepreneurship 1
Fire and Emergency Medical Sciences 1 (2 periods)

My senior schedule would be:

IB English HL 2
IB TOpics HL 1
IB Biology HL 1
IB Math Studies
IB Spanish SL 2
IB TOK
IB 1 yr elective TBD

Should I do it? Does my junior year schedule not look challenging enough? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever just sat down, cracked open a coke, looked at yourself, and thought that maybe you have already tried hard enough?

What kind of school allows you to not take math man?

I used to drink coke a lot, but I’ve become very concerned about my enamel, so I am cutting back.

Let me tell you something-- a senior year math class of math studies is definately not going to get you into the top 30 selective colleges, sorry. Math studies is the worst class (in terms of ranking) that you can take senior year. It goes over 8th and 9th grade material. Do not do that.

Dude, you can take Basic Life Support and CPR training out side of school (which is what I’m doing), which will ultimately result in just as good certification.

Don’t sacrifice the IB Diploma to become an EMT…
