I just got a ti-89 and I'm trying to download a assembly program to my ti-89. How do I do it? There are no instructions in the manual for it. So please help ... What should I do first? Then what after that?

Please see this post that is currently going on, and you can check out the previous posts to figure out the answer to your question. Even though we are transferring .89p program files, the same rules apply for .asm files as well.

Did you try it?

bump.......................

hey man alright well there's a simple instructions on www.satprogs.com

and the programs aren't in one little program package, its designed so you can have ease of access during the test without going through menus. All you have to do is download the zip file and then connect your calc to comp and then drag all the program files (.89p or .89f) over the ti-connect software icon. Then you'll be given a dialog which is fairly self-explanatory. Just make sure you change everything from ram to archive. then just click connect and its all in.

the rest is easy...just go to 2nd>Var link and then choose your program and close the paranthasee...there is specifics for each program on the site.

hope that helps man.
These programs have worked to get 3 kids 800s including myself =)
hope that was motivational...but remember its not the programs alone that will get you a good score...you have to practice and all in all KNOW YOUR MATH! ahah

ok so I transfered the files to the calc. by draging them to the ti-connect icon, but how do I see the files in my calc? where are the files ? Am I supposed to search for them on my calc. or something?

thanks

just go to 2nd>Var link and then choose your program and close the paranthasee
