Please help!! Which schools are worth visiting?

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I have gotten all my acceptances and am now trying to decide which colleges will be worth the visit. I'm thinking of majoring in business and going pre-law but I definitely want to keep my mind and options open. I would like a social setting but still be surrounded by people with good work ethic Overall, I really think I would like to be at a good school in all areas. Below are the schools and the scholarships I have received:

(This is still fluctuating a lot!!)
Emory- (hopefully full ride- need based)
UC Davis- $31,378
UC San Diego- $31,678
Loyola Marymount- $21,249
UMD College Park Scholars program- (hopefully full ride)
SMU- $50,000
UT- 20,000
A&M- 16,752
Boston- 49,746

I would like to emphasize, however, that while price is definitely a factor, I would like to consider
absolutely everything.
Pros and cons?
If all were free where would you go?
Thanks :))

ignore this comment! :bz

You live in Texas but were offered $23k - $24k from UC schools? How does that happen?

And how did you happen to pick UC Davis and UC San Diego? They are not only at opposite ends of the state but they are also very different in character, strength of programs, etc.

Mondut, I applied to most of the UC schools because its just one application, and those are the ones I got into!

Probably normal need-based aid, but that probably still leaves a net price of around $32k. UC net price calculators indicate that they offer the same need-based financial aid to out-of-state students as in-state students, but that leaves the $23k out-of-state additional tuition not covered by financial aid.

To the OP: it would make more sense to list the net prices after deducting grants and scholarships (not loans) from the list prices (and also list any college GPA thresholds to renew any merit scholarships). But it looks like your affordable choices would be Emory/Oxford, Texas A&M, and possibly UMDCP and UT Austin, depending on actual scholarship amounts.

Good idea! I will post another with that info right now! Thank you ucbalumnus.
I would like to ultimately base my decision off of everything though so if you have more insight on the schools that would be really helpful!!
P.S. sorry I don’t know how to directly reply to things like you did to Mondut!

Can you please post actual cost, in numbers?
Can you give us (tuition+ R&B) - (grants+scholarships) = ?
What’s your parents’ budget?

If Emory stays anywhere near the bottom of the price-list, or is even free, there’s not a real decision to be made if you like the school - Emory is going to win in terms of quality and price. Goizueta is one of the top undergrad business schools in the nation, #5 on the Business Week list, and at a low price, would be hard to turn down.
