Hello,
I have just finished all of my summer work for my upcoming class, ap biology, but I am stuck on a part that's supposed to be easy. I have to define the 8 major themes of biology, however I can not find half of the themes in my text book. Can anybody offer me some advice on where to find the information on the internet because I was searching for quite a long time and didn't find anything useful. The answers would also help.:o

Holy cow, I remember going over this ages ago. So, I popped in my old
AP biology textbook CD (the textbook is at school) and I went to chapter one (because that's where those ten themes were... well, my book had ten, but I figured you could discern among the ones you needed), and BLAH, it didn't have it. Gomenesai.
But you can try going to the library...? And looking for my old AP textbook: Campbell and Reece's "Biology" Sixth Edition. It's green with a black binding with a pencil-drawn flower on the cover.

Yes that is the one.

this has 9. I don't really know what 8 your teacher is referring to, but this link has the official college board topic outline with 9 main areas.

I appreciate the help but thats just the topic outline, not the 8 major themes of biology.

anything else just ask..
