i am currently attending the University of Rhode Island as a freshman. I am trying to get into TCNJ next fall as a sophomore. My SAT scores were 1150, my first semester grades were: A, A, B-,B-,C+, and an incomplete that is in the process of being changed to a B. I sent in my transcripts with the incomplete but i'm sending in the new ones as soon as the grade gets fixed. My GPA last semester was a 3.0 and I am applying as a nursing major. Does anyone think i have a shot?

hey dude...i replied yesterday to your original post. good luck with everything. if you really want to improve your chances, i would say stick it out another semester to up your gpa, so they focus less on your sat score. 3.0 is pretty much their cutoff according to members of the admission committee, but they are willing to consider other factors as well. nursing happens to be a pretty competitive program there from what i hear, so i would take the time to up your stats, which of course is probably not what you want to hear. so what the hell. go for it. provide a compelling case in your essay for why you want to attend tcnj.
