Recs:
Honors and AP Physics teacher - great!
Counselor - probably good, she's new...

Essays:
I'm a strong writer and have some interesting topics in mind - probably a highlight of my app

Northwestern: if your courseload is as rigorous as you say it is, I would say it’s a high match or a low reach. You’re unweighted is still low-ish, but you have a fighting chance. Fifty-fifty, if not higher.
Michigan - In. Definitely in. 90+%
Carnegie Mellon - Most likely in, since legacy means a lot. I would say 75% or so.
University of Chicago - A mid reach most likely. 50-50.
UPenn - if you apply ED, you have a better shot. I don’ know their engineering program.
Notre Dame - I don’t think being Catholic gives you an edge. You have good statistics and it might be a low reach.

I have literally taken the hardest classes possible, so don’t worry I’m not deceiving anyone! All honors, then all AP, and all my required electives have been academic/ useful (i.e., no School Store, Fashion, or AcLabs). It was really freshman year that did me in. I’ve only gotten 3 Bs (2 of them being B+s) since, the rest As.

And alright I’ll chance you back, thanks for the thorough chance!

Northwestern = low reach, high match maybe
Michigan = in
CMU = match with legacy
UChicago = Same to NW
UPenn = Low Reach, apply ED though and you will likely get in
Notre Dame = High Match
