Be aware that the “BS/MD” program at WUStL requires students to get a 3.8+ GPA and 36+ MCAT in order to be guaranteed a spot in its med school. You could get into any number of medical schools with those numbers. For comparison, the average admitted stats at Duke Med are 3.74 and 34.</p>
<p>Many of the others have GPA and MCAT requirements as well, though lower.</p>
<p>Your list contains a lot of out-of-state public universities (Penn State, Pittsburgh, Alabama) and private colleges with hit-or-miss financial aid (BU, St. Bonaventure, Drexel, GWU, CWRU, Miami), both of which tend to be expensive. You would probably get a merit scholarship at several of those, but check them all out carefully to make sure they’re affordable.</p>
