@collegebounds can u tell me what practice u did? Thanks

i have been lucky im getting good grades
took summer school and got a A in it, so im currently a 4.0 student hahahahah

Lol! I hope u the best for ur future!;)

thx u too, even though we dont really know each other lol… apply to sdsu as your back up hahahahah

I didn’t read the entire thread, so sorry if this has already been said…

It REALLY helps me to preview the questions before the long reading passages and mark the sections/words it talks about with highlighter. I took the PSAT a few weeks back and was able to finish all the sections using this method. In general, even HAVING a highlighter while testing helps me somehow. It sounds crazy, but maybe it will work for you too

Misc:
Sign up for the SAT question of the Day!
Dr.Chung’s really lives up to the hype
Ask your school career center for free SAT practice tests.

Good Luck!

@accipehoc- thanks for the advice but I don’t think that you are allowed to bring a highlighter since they didn’t allow even a mechanical pencil.
I have more problem with pacing and sentence completion so I think reading and practicing should get me a better cr score. I really have to get dr. Chung everyone is recommending it!!, I am already signed up for question of day. I didn’t know about the career center providing tests I’ll go ask! Thanks for the input GL!

@emperadorMex I was thinking of applying to sdsu too!! For backup! Lol if I do go there, I’ll contact u!! I am gonna add you on my friend list here! (useful person).

^ yeah, don’t take a highlighter. They’ll cancel your score if you use one and they find out.

im not very active here lol, i just logged in to check when the time of SAT started because my sister took it on saturday, and we didnt get a call from her till like 1:30pm… so i got worried haha, since i had to go pick her up.

but yea haha, i could help u etc :P, but you seem like you will probably get accepted to better universities hahahaha

This was my first post:) and everyone helped and I got my question answered, gotta work hard and get that 2100+. Thanks everyone.

And emperadorMex thanks!

I would say focus on your weak area. Do not just practice without any specifics. As a junior, you still need to do good on your GPA. Schools pay more attention on your GPA, A/P classes than your SAT. Of course, over time you need to improve your SAT scores gradually. By senior years, your score will increase accordingly even without prepration.
With some practice during the summer end of junior yr, take the test on Oct & Nov. you should be fine.

Yap I am gonna focus on reading and currently I have all a’s with 3 ap’s, I just wanna get done with sat so I can study for sat 2 in summer:)
