Please suggest safe universities and evaluate profile

<p>gre scores are:
Verbal: 153/170 (59 percentile)
Quantative: 168/170 (95 percentile)
AWA: 3.5 (38 percentile)
toefl : expecting between 100-110
I am content with quant but verbal score is a bit daunting. </p>

<p>I wish to pursue MS in programming or Computer Science. </p>

<p>Here's my edu. background.
Undergraduation: Bachelors of Technology - Computer Science
Undergrad %: 69.42%
Class 12: 68.2%
Class 10: 79.6% </p>

<p>8 months experience via interships in Java (5 months) and SAP - ABAP (3 months)
(the total experience was with the 4-year dgree not seperately) </p>

<p>Not so much of extra-curricular activities.
• Editor, designer and writer for Techne (CSE magazine)
• Organizer- Technical Quiz
• Participant in Web Designing team – College Fest
• Formal Writer and Designer : Computer Department Club </p>

<p>3 projects related to my field
made a line follower robot in my 2nd year of undergrad</p>

<p>Courses (not certifications):
1) C
2) C++
3) Java
4) Spring
5) Struts
6) Hibernate </p>

<p>Also, I am on of the best programmer of my batch, and I can get recommendation to prove that. </p>

<p>For mod/ambi I have selected these:
1) North Carolina State University
2) Arizona State University
3) Georgia Institute of Technology
4) University of California, Riverside
5) University of Florida
6) Iowa State University
7) University of Illinois</p>

<p>Please tell which of these I can get into.
can't figure out safe universities. so, PLEASE SUGGEST 4 SAFE UNIVERSITIES (other than the ones I have mentioned above).</p>

<p>Applying to UC’s together would be better and easy And offers good mix of dream and reachable.
The scores of 10 & 12 are low. Difficult to get in to G tech.
Rather try for a bit lower dream unis.

<p>there are no safety grad schools. Do you have the means to pay? If so, maybe there are ones that would take that into acct.</p>

<p>Yes, do apply to some lower tier schools.</p>

<p>Often, those that are applying to Eng’g grad schools have perfect Q scores. The V is less important to STEM schools. </p>

<p>Try UA-Huntsville Very good with Eng’g and CS Likely easier to get into.</p>

<p>Also, try Mississippi State</p>
