<p>Vandy is about balance - work hard, play hard. Always working on something from community service, to club meetings, to parties at greek houses to doing homework. Being that everyone lives on campus the school does a great job of scheduling activities from concerts to visiting professors to theatre to playing sports with your hall.</p>
<p>As far as the students go Vandy has gone great links to diversifying the student population over the last several years. The best way to describe it is that everything is becoming more 50-50. 50% preppy vs 50% non prep, note: preppy is just more visual and stand out because they are in bigger groups together. 50% public school vs private, more mix in different cultures black and white, jewish vs christian, foreign, and regional more west and northeastern with rural vs city backgrounds. If you are looking for a particular type of group, you will be able to find it at Vandy.</p>
