This is my top choice school and I am highly stressed, any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Also will have completed 14 IB/AP classes by the end of my senior year and passed my IB engineering pathway test.
Don’t be stressed! You’re SAT is in line. Your GPA is on the low side for GT. However, the internship you did for GT as well as your interview will compensate for that. Also, your ECs sound great - competitive rowing, TSA, and science fair! Additionally, your essays on the struggles you overcame make a compelling case for you. Good luck! I believe in you!
^^I agree. Being in IB Diploma is a heavy-hitter as well as your competitive rowing (very unique). Your scores are pretty good (normal/a little above average for a GT student) but you’re extensive work in science and engineering (with GT and fairs and stuff) gives you a boost. Even though you never really know exactly how colleges will go, I think you have a very high chance of getting in!
