<p>It is true, a/c is there. According to "Brief Points for Parents," 2003 marked the completion of an 11 year, 251 million dollar restoration, including the instillation of air conditioning; it was not until 2005, however, that Congress finally approved enough funding to turn it on. </p>
<p>We had a thread on this awhile back- several posted that giving the mids a better chance to rest at night in a cool environment instead of sweating in their stone oven made them more energetic during the day and actually improved their physical performance. </p>
<p>Progress- it's a good thing.</p>
