What can you tell me about this course? I am scheduled to take it.
I went through the program and I found it interesting, but not worth the time or the money (I had to “donate”). Most schools don’t recognize these classes as rigorous as AP or IB classes and I believe my course rigor looked lacking.
I took it as a freshman and really liked it. It exposes you to many different fields of medicine, nursing, and forensics
It would be an elective for me @anxiousenior1
Do you learn about like surgery, how to diagnose using symptoms? @nyuhopeful44
You learn about a couple different diseases: diabetes, sickle cell anemia, heart disease, and uti’s in depth. You learn their symptoms so you could diagnose those three diseases. The only surgery we learned about was a coronary bypass when we studied heart disease. There is more surgery in HBS, which is the course that follows. You also learn about forensics.
Awesome, thank you! @nyuhopeful44
