Anyone in this class?

What is the work exactly? I tried a couple e-lessons but it's like they're designed for children. Are we really supposed to go through 21 of them by this weekend?

I'm not quite sure if I'm doing too little work for this class. What is he even going to test on? Lectures are kinda funny but there doesn't seem to be a lot of structure.

And these images that he and the GSIs keep talking about...no one seems to know what he's talking about.

I just don't want to have to re-take any exams during finals week.

yeah that class is a MESS.

i skipped yesterday. and which screenshots are we supposed to be printing and taking notes on or whatever? does he mean the dnaftb animations? thats a helluva lotta ink…

“Mess” would be an understatement.

lol, have you guys actually **done **any work for this class yet?

Read through the stuff.

Friend of mine said e-lessons were important.

soooooooo.

did he actually talk about any content in the last lecture? i skipped and trying to figure out a way to force myself to go to the class when its 4 in the evening and all the way in stanley hall.

ad all ive done so far is study elessons 1-10 and reading precautionary principle. i just dont want to screw up what is supposed to be my cake class, yaddada mean?

he touches on the stuff that we’re sppose to read, but for the most part, he just goes off on his tangents.

sooo how r u guys gonna study for this midterm at all?

lol i still stand by my earlier stance. this class is a MESS.

did any of you go the review session? is the split of the exam half elessons and half readings/images/ppts? and we dont need a scantron right?

Lol, my friend who took it last year said it was MOSTLY e-lesson stuff. However, he seems pretty adamant about wanting to screw over some people who don’t attend lecture.

HelloAll: like 95% and 5% or like 60% and 40% lol? also is there going to be MC and short answer as well or is it entirely screenshots. i still dont understand the test’s structure

oh and what are the 4 conclusions of the neanderthal paper do you guys think?

From what I can tell, it was more like 90/10. As for the Neanderthal one, I have no ******* clue, lol…

Hi Jackie. She was expecting something more Japanese.

Does anyone know what the retake will be like? Same format? reused questions?

haha. that was from the videos about 99.5 alignment among the human race in general than between members of a specific ethnicity. i thought it was easy considering ive been to 2 lectures all semester…and a lot of the test were the exact sample screenshots he gave in the ppt

sigh…why does he have to start giving us freakin pop quizzes in section???

did anyone catch what he said about regrades…

i didn’t go to lecture on wednesday but on monday he talked about regrades. basically no regrades. here’s what my notes say:

Freeling doesn’t want to talk about grades during office hours, at all

You may talk to your GSI about arithmetic errors

Even if you wrote the same thing as your friend but you didn’t get credit, too bad

You can’t skip class and then pretend to be concerned after the test

Re-take period is on your calendar
