<p>This is for S of a friend. Awesome student, great GPA, but poor SATs (slight reading disability, no accommodations in HS) interested in politics, has great internships already in HS, esp. this summer. Makes connections with people, super responsible & quick-thinking, etc. I trust & admire him enormously. On one hand some say UC is preferable no matter what, others insist Cal States are more "hands on". Would love some insider opinions, thanks!</p>
