I have a couple of questions about Wooster. The first one is whether you think I would be a good match. I have a 4.1 GPA (4.0 unweighted). I am first of 237 in my class and have a 32 on the ACT (34 math and English 33 reading 28 science. I am in band (vice pres) and aacademic challenge pres/ co capt. among other things. I am very into political science. What so you know of this department?
Saying I love political science is an understatement. I have memorized all the senators and governors, constantly follow campaigns, and have gotten very involved on local issues/ campaigns. I sort of think of myself as the political science version of Ben Gates from National Treasure. Do you think that I would fit in at Wooster? Would there be others like me?
Oh, I have already applied.

I'm sorry no one has responded to your question. For some reason, the Wooster threads are not well-visited. ... My daughter is a soph at Wooster and loves it--though her major is archeology, with minors in art history and religious studies. She has a good friend who is majoring in political science and seems very happy. ... You would be an excellent match in terms of test score. My daughter's ACT was just about identical to yours and she received a fantastic scholarship. ... With your passion for political science, you would proobably excel at any number of schools. At Wooster, your enthusiasm and smarts would endear you to the professors, for sure! My daughter has a similar passion for her field, and even though she is only a sophomore she has already had wonderful doors opened for her. (She will be studying in Florence, Italy this semester at the Lorenzo de Medici School.) I hope that Wooster is still among your college choices. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up!
