I am a high school student and i am very passionate about pursuing a political science degree. I was wondering if somebody could enlighten me regarding the department of political science at Columbia. How does it stand out in comparison to programs at other universities? </p>

<p>I am currently trying to find a connection between my interests in political economy/international relations and professors at Columbia: Blattman, Legvold, Betts etc... </p>

Political science at Columbia is very strong. There is a huge school of international and public affairs. The current President of the U.S. was a political science major at Columbia.
