How does VU's political science department measure up?

I have the same question - any comments from anyone?

I can give you some info from my freshman d: The faculty in that department are very well respected, from prestigious institutions (several Georgetown PhDs, UVa (dept. head), Stanford, etc.) and liked by the students. You will have small classes, all taught by these professors, not TAs. My d took an International Relations course her very first semester with mainly upperclassmen, taught by an amazing prof (Kreidie) who has his own "think tank" business in Philadelphia at which some students have interned. She said she learned an enormous amount in that class, and he was a fantastic and approachable person. I hope this gives you some glimpse from a student's perspective- it's a snapshot.

Thanks, galwaymom - my S is deciding between Villanova & American - he's interested in politics and international relations.
