Hello everyone,
I've been accepted to both UGA and Berkeley (College of letters and science) among other colleges like GWU and AU in D.C. My intended major is political science. I know it is better to get a great GPA in undergrad to raise my chances of going to a good Grad school. However, school in general is not my focus; I am a businessman and have been through all of high school. I have created websites like tracemyimpact.com where you can record volunteer hours online for free (check it out) and all of my businesses have great potential.

I am majoring in political science because I might run for political office in the future. If I go to Berkeley and major in Poli Sci, will I have more than enough time to manage my businesses? I would prefer to go to Berkeley because I have relatives in Cali and am a very liberal person who is active in politics; however, business is my primary focus. Keep in mind I don't wish to major in business (that's not a good decision for real businessmen from what I've heard because business school doesn't prepare you for real business). I am really torn apart about this decision and would like input from actual poli sci majors from both these universities and anyone else who is knowledgeable about this. Thanks!!!
