Politics And Columbia Ed!

hey i hoped that was a catchy title..
well i think that my chances are pretty thin.. but hey, why not try to ED at my number one school?

Asian Male, Southern CA

GPA
3.61 UW.. yeah, but i do have a rising trend:
Freshman: 3.33/3.50
Sophomore: 3.67/3.33 <-- yeah pretty bad
Junior: 3.83/4.0

11 APs by the time i graduate (most competitive load, exhausted all APs)

SATs.. assume that I will reach 2250 because i won't rest till i do. besides, thats basically what im getting on practice tests...
SAT IIs.. combined.. over 2300 (math IIc, physics, us history)

political science or philosophy

ECs/HOOK:
freedom's answer member (national organization to improve voter turnout)
boys' state delegate
chartered the young democrats in an extremely conservative school
first gen college
interact president
varsity swim.. but nothing commendable.. i barely made the team
Academic Decathlon captain.. led team to 3rd place overall for the first time in 15 years..
student senate

basically, im praying that my ECs will almost make up for my GPA.

so how does it look?

and can anyone tell me some good safety schools?

I dont know if I'd write that you are an asian male on your applications

it can't hurt, can it? it definitely wouldn't benefit me though.
anyway, i'm going to a school with a 4% asian population... i literally am one of the only asian liberals.

What school? Usually, when you are not one of those crazy asian prodigies, its better not to write you are of asian decent. But in this case, maybe it would be beneficial?
