Just a quick poll.. I am applying to Tufts for Engineering. Do you guys think I am in or rejected?

I find out next week, I believe and I am totally bugging out. Northeastern and Boston University have both accepted me but my top choice is Tufts!

Anyways, I recently applied to Northeastern, Boston U, and Tufts for spring transfer to study engineering. I am transfering from Stevens Institute of Technology. My high school is very competitive high school and sends kids to Ivies every year blah blah.

A completely arbitrary probability assignment:
35% in/65% out of Tufts
Given the information that you've provided us.

What year are you?
Which school are you transfering from?
How difficult were your classes?

Maybe I'll plug everything into my regression model and figure it out. HAHA =)

I am a 2nd year at Stevens Institute of Technology. A small engineering school in Hoboken, NJ. Very good school and a very very tough school. The school requires the most credits in the nation, for engineering, to graduate.

Oh. how are recs and essays?

I have 1 rec. It is from my English Professor at Stevens. She knew me the best and has teached at Northeastern as well as Stevens. I received a B in her course. She actually let me see the rec and it is very good.

Tufts only asked for 1 rec.

My first essay is a about an event that is very important to me, and I told somewhat of a narrative about my high school county finals baseball game and the importance of playing as a team. Overall, I felt it was a pretty good essay. A lot of my qualities can be seen in the essay, as well as my writing ability which isn't evident in my SAT scores, but is in my writing class at Stevens(A-) and High School english classes.

My other essay was straight forward about why I want to go to Tufts and want to leave Stevens.

I just heard back from Tufts today.. I GOT IN!!!!!!!!

congratulations!!!!hope u do well in tufts

thanks man.. I was expecting to be rejected..

I had no doubt that you'd get in :)
