Hi Guys! I am transferring to Cal poly this coming fall and am majoring in Business. I also was wondering about the housing. I already reserved my spot in the apartment housing but I don’t get to pick which apartment building. I wanted to be a pcv.

Well for me at least, majors are not a huge factor in who I room with, I wana live with someone who I will get along with & who I can enjoy my transfer experience with!! if anyone is interested in rooming together let me know so we can talk & see if its a good fit =]

@CaliGal91: I couldn’t agree more. Due to the size of the transfer class I think people will be hard pressed to find people within the same major that they get along with that are also transfers. I agree that I just care about getting along with my roommate and like you said someone that will make your transfer experience more enjoyable.

Yes, well if anyone wants to talk about possibly rooming together you can send me your fb link (if you have one) or email, & we can figure out something. & if we decide not to room together at least we will have someone to talk to about this crazy transfer process!! Its always nice to meet new people =]

Yo! I’m coming to Cal Poly this year! First year freshman coming from Colorado. I’m short on money and so I’ve applied for a triple in the Yosemite and Sierra Madre apartments. What do you guys have to say about that? Smart, stupid? It does save me an extra $1200 which will be prime smoothie money for Jamba Juice. BTW I was considering School of Mines, and Jamba Juice absolutely sold it for me. I’m a big fan. Speaking of such, don’t mean to jack the thread, but what is a FAST PASS. Keeps advertising a 44% discount off of places like Jamba. Is it worth it? How much?

I just applied for a double! Chemistry major, and not sure whether i want PCV or CV. I would love to get to know some of my fellow transfers! is there a facebook group or something for newly admitted transfers?

I just got approved for fall 2012 on Cal Poly!
I am an international student from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, and will stay for 1 year in Cal poly!!!

Im trying to find out everything about the university.

Im still not sure, since i just sent an email to them, but I think I only have Cerro Vista option.

Anyone here already applyed for CV??

And also lets make an FB page so we can arrange meeting there!

if anyone wants you can add me on FB… Pedro Richa Dabarian.
Just leave a message that you are from Cal Poly…

Hey… I was looking for photos of PCV and Cerro, and I didnt see any bedrooms that allows 2 people…
For what i saw and read each apartment have 4 single bedrooms…

isnt that right or am I wrong?

and what is the avarenge age of each apartment? cause im 22 and would be good to have some people over 21 with me

edit: nevermind about the 1st question… just saw that some bedroom can be double… But I think I will go for single, since in the apartment It will already have 3 other people to met, and would be good some privacy sometimes
