Does Pomona do likely letters?
Not to my knowledge, but I may be wrong. Donāt stress about it.
Hang in there. My son got in off the waitlist last year, with stats in the same range as you. He graduated first in his high school class, but I donāt think this is deterministic at Pomona. Class composition, for the very small entering class, is a bigger factor - which means, after stats, itās a bit of a dice roll. Keep showing interest and do share your personality. Make that human connection and maybe theyāll see how you would be a great complement to the group that they want to bring in. Good luck with your other applications as well.
Does anyone know when Pomona decisions usually come out? All I know is itās by April 1st.
Last yearās decisions were released on March 20. However, not sure what will happen this year. My guess is that decisions will be out sometime between March 19 and March 26.
Hey everyone! Iāve noticed Pomona has been dropping decisions on Fridays for the past few years and usually inside the March 15 to 20 timeframe. Do you think decisions will come out next Friday, March 19?
I hope so, but thereās obviously no way to know for sure this year (unless the college specifically gives a date).
i feel like itās going to be later than that. Maybe 26th.
why
Is anyone here also applying to Pitzer? They sent an email tonight saying they would release decisions on the 19th at 4pm pacific time.
I am! For some reason, I didnāt even receive this email, but thanks for sharing!
obviously this is only speculation, but last year it was on the 20th and I would guess no sooner than the 20th.
Of course almost every Clarement college except for Pomona released when they will give out decisions hahahaha. Come on, Pomona!
Hey everyone! CMC confirmed that decisions will drop next Thursday at 5 pm pacific time. Pitzer announced their decisions are going to drop this Friday and Scripps mentioned on their instastories that decisions will be out soon.
Iām so anxious about Pomonaās decisions. Iām really hoping we get them this week.
Thank you.
Harvey Muddās decisions will be out the 18th at 6pm.
Do you lean more to the possibility of Pomonaās decisions being released this Friday? Or do you think next week is more possible?
I still think Friday is slightly more likely than next week, but if there is no announcement by mid-day then I suspect I will revise my guesstimate.
