Ahhhh too crazy! I live in CA so I might be getting my letter in the next couple of days. If it’s a rejection/waitlist, I just hope I don’t get it tomorrow because I have to play a concert in the evening and I have to stay focused somehow :(

Good luck people!!! :)

Edit: Oooh cool balleranddancer :)

boooo, mailed decisions.
Although I must say, the big packet is much more exciting than the cold, unfeeling computer screen…

Any tips on what to expect? Large packets for admits and a letter for rejects?

Yep admits are in large white envelopes with “Class of 2015” written on them

and waitlists and denials are in plain white business envelopes.

ALso just because i saw a USPS truck doesn’t necessarily mean that decisions went out today - just a possibility.

How long would it take to get to the Bay Area? 2-3 days?

Hi guys, it was a prediction based on last year and I know someone that lives in Claremont that told me that they were mailed today which confirmed my suspicions. She didn’t exactly say how she knew but she was positive…I’m excited! I live 10 or 15 minutes away! Good luck everyone!

I expect Pitzer to have mailed as well…

@mantis - 2 days. Back east:3 day. Add an extra day if you live in an out of way location and know you mail is often later than other people.

Good luck!

Last week, A dean of admissions told me that decisions would be mailed March 24. Good luck everybody!

@dulce… I saw the FedEx truck coming from Pomona’s direction yesterday. Ahhh. I was praying it carried all of the packages=D. Hahha

@JoyRide So the FedEx truck did carry all of the important packages! WQoooooo. Hope mine is in there and not postal service. I live 10 mins. away. Hopefully the mail from Pomona will come today.

^I thought Pomona mailed acceptances via Priority Mail?

Would it be possible that the decisions could come today for applicants living in Los Angeles?

Can people log into the portal?

Oh, this is so nervewracking. I hope the LA area gets theirs today, because that might mean I could get my letter tomorrow! (I live in the Northwest…how long does it normally take to get there?)

Btw, I can still log on to myPomona.

Are you sure you can log in? Because I thought I could but then I noticed that it would just take me back to Home page

Yes, I can still log in…
I typed in my username and my password (which I had changed before, so it’s not the same as the one they sent me).
On the portal, there are three tabs: academics, finances, and admissions password reset

If LA gets theirs today, the Northwest should get them tomorrow…Monday the latest

Well you get those tabs even if you aren’t logged in

Oh boy, I hope someone is able to check the mail soon! We’re on spring break, so waiting is not as bad. If it’s Monday though, school is going to go by so slow!
