Decision date

CMC is releasing theirs on the 22nd which is pretty far ahead of schedule, anybody heard whether Pomona is on a similar track or not?

The Pomona website says before April 5, which is surprising since I thought they were required to notify before April 1

They’re not required to notify by April 1st, but it’s a disadvantage since most other top schools are releasing decisions the last week of March. Maybe they’re just behind this year? Such a long time to wait though :(

Perhaps it’s best if someone shoots them an email.

I asked on their admission page (fb), their response was this: “We can’t make any guarantees, but a little bird told us they’ll be out before the end of March!” – Looks like they’re ahead of schedule guys!

Via email or letter?

Pomona College -Office of Admissions just posted on their FB page that today was mailing day.

Wwwwwooooooaaaah EXCITED. Now I must wait 2 weeks for my letter to reach the United Kingdom. On the other side of the world.

Oh, and does this mean that decisions aren’t available online/via email?

Ah, after revising the previous year’s thread, I’ve found out that pomona does send emails out to internationals at about the same time others receive their letters.

ERMAHGERD. I’m so anxious! Any one have an ETA for me in Minnesota?

What about an ETA for San Diego?

Received today about 2 hour drive from Pomona College

^Haha, should’ve gone and got it yourself!

Does your acceptance letter come with anything else? Or is it just a one page fit inside a standard envelope? Just curious.

From the FB picture on the AO page, it looks like the accceptance envelopes at least are pretty large.

@Bannedhero did you get in?

What do you guys think are my chances of getting into Pomona?
