Pomona or Vanderbilt?

to be frank, I am pretty sure I like Pomona more than Vanderbilt
as Pomona has great location, academics and people
but I just hear some of your opinion

I'd like to study social sciences
and most likely I am going to go to graduate school after graduation
But one thing about liberal art school that really concerns me is that they have almost minimal reputation in my home country, so even if I'd like to work for a few years before attending graduate schools, it'd be quite hard to find a job back in my home country. So my choices would be limited.

so any comments?

And Vanderbildt is more reputable in your country?

No offense to folks who like Vanderbilt… how can you be in a dilemma?

I echo with coolsons…

dude go to california!

Well Vanderbilt almost have the same reputation as any liberal art school in China.

But the general public in China do not really know what an liberal art education means; so if you say you graduate from a liberal art college, recruiters mostly likely would think it’s some kind of technical school or community college.

:) Many thanks for the comments.
