<p>I very badly want to go to FIT. I do not however, have much knowledge in exactly what a portfolio going to FIT should entail.
I have not yet received the home-test. Has anyone here taken it before and got accepted? And do you know of any good books to help me learn some skills for my sketches? I have the creativity and vision, but not a lot of deep knowledge (why i want to go to this school!!!).</p>

"Portfolio Presentation for Fashion Designers" by Linda Tain</p>
<p>Pay close attention to the The Fashion Sketchbook because it shows you exactly how the clothing should fall on a croquis. Good Luck!</p>
<p>yea, The Fashion Sketchbook by Abling is a great resource,as is 9 Heads, which is pretty much the illustration bible. It isn't that hard to get into FIT if you're good at illustration -- Parsons is harder if you suck at fine art.</p>
