I think people might need this right now, so boost. my positive thing: listening to fall out boy is a very good way to distract yourself. i recommend listening to American beauty/american psycho.

At this point, M10 is just a (bittersweet) memory, but I thought I could turn this into a compliment thread.

First, congrats to @HistoryGeek40‌ on your enrollment at Loomis! You have been a kind, supportive, and maybe somewhat naive friend to all of us on this board, and your happy ending makes me so happy.

I want the world to open up for @mathman1201‌. You have worked so hard, and poured yourself into your applications, and you deserve to do great things. My biggest fear for you is that you’ll allow prep school to take over your life, and I will tell you again and again that you have to dream bigger than high school. You’ve learned an invaluable life lesson early on, and you will do well wherever this crazy ride takes you.

@thelittleswimmer‌, like the rest of us, you devoted the past few months to your dream. Maybe you didn’t get the ending you’d hoped for, but the positivity and ambition you’ve demonstrated will serve you well.

I want to thank all of my CC parents for their unwavering support and friendship. I feel like I have a network of moms (and dads!) scattered around the world.

The world is bigger than prep school. There are better things out there. Take what you have, work for more, and run with it.
