I recently had the idea to write an essay about how I strove to succeed, and eventually did, in a class where the teacher unjustly hated me (and other motivated students, she called us “arrogant” for answering questions and class and issued grades based on who she liked better). I wouldn’t say anything directly negative about the teacher, just that we didn’t get along very well; I know it would be a stupid idea to make slanderous comments about a faculty member at my school. So…is this a terrible idea?
Yes, it’s a terrible idea. Trying to elevate yourself by making other people look bad looks slimey.
@GMTplus7 Yeah, it’s sounding worse and worse the more I think about it…I have so many ideas sometimes it’s hard to weed out the bad ones without a second opinion. Thanks for your help! I’ll be crossing that idea off my mental list.
