Possible to switch a completed regular decision app to early decision?

<p>I sent in a regular decision app to a college a few weeks ago. Now, I'm beginning to think that should have been an early decision application. Seeing as the early decision deadline is still 15 days away (it's ED II), would it be possible (in most cases) to change the application type? I'm beginning to feel like that might be the best option to take.</p>

<p>In this case, I was able to "make the switch." I'm now an Early Decision applicant at Middlebury.</p>
