Post A Pic of Your Pyrex/Vintage Glassware-Cookware!

On another thread people were talking about Pyrex. It’s hugely popular in the vintage/retro/MCM world - rare or common pieces. Probably most of our kitchens have a piece or two we got somewhere along the way.

I thought it might be fun since we can do photos, to share some of our fun/unique/most used/display pieces.

I’m at work so will need to be home to look at mine and see what I want to share BUT I do have this square bowl in use as a catch all bowl in my kitchen for random writing utensils, post it notes, business cards etc. The yellow just makes me happy!

It’s selling online for the $20-25 range. I picked it up at a vintage shop for probably $3-4 dollars.

A pic of my vintage bowl set given to us by BFFs who are avid collectors of some vintage stuff.

I have never seen a Pyrex piece like this! It’s called “Early American”

(fun to do the google picture thing and find out more about these pieces!)

Raise your hand if you didn’t have those bowls in your kitchen. No one raises hand.

In a very uncharitable fashion, I will say that even as a kid, I didn’t love those bowls with that late 60’s/early 70’s mustardy vibe. Sorry!:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I was not sure if it was Pyrex, but it is definitely vintage! Maybe we can add other vintage glass to the thread?

I will not play Pyrex police! I’m fine with other stuff - but please DO keep posting Pyrex!

These dishes I bought 30 years ago at an outlet store in Centralia, WA. The lid is Pyrex but the dishes are Corelle.

Wondering if some of these pieces were wedding gifts for anyone here…

This appears to be one of the bowls I have

This looks like the other one

Beautiful! Pieces like this (the saturated colors) are so pleasing to me.

I have 4 of this pattern of CorningWare, including one this size

I also have 2 of this pattern

And a couple of other random pieces.

abasket- I have that piece, too. It was my mom’s go-to; she used it all the time. I don’t find much use for it because it’s so big. It has an unusual flat lid.

Friend of mine has these same ones (from over 30 years ago!). I have a slightly different pattern - will have to take a picture later.

And @abasket - these were indeed wedding gifts.

I have three of the same pattern @JustaMom posted. Two squares and a rectangle. I also have two Corning Ware with the blue wildflower or is it a cornflower….well…like the ones pictures below

I have 2 Corning Ware casseroles in the wildflower pattern-large and small.
Also, 2 Pyrex mixing bowls , large and medium.
All were gifts when I married decades ago. I still use all of them frequently.

We have the two container cornflower set; no idea where we originally got them although my husband says his sister has their mom’s collection. Not a wedding present, anyway.

Can you tell which size has gotten more use ?
