ok so i guess there was an error on my application soo i find out monday. sighh this better work out, wish me luck

do you mean there was an error posting your result on your application status page, or there was an error ON the application (i.e. you filled something out wrong)?

Hope it isn't the latter, but good luck and hope you get accepted!

haha actually it is the latter, i filled one part out wrong, but we talked to the director of admissions and they are going to put my application through the process on monday and ill know by the end of the day.

Nice dude!
Yeah you have almost the similar stats as me

Math 800 CR 660 Writing 700

Do you have msn or AIM?

If you use the candidate's choice app, do you find out any earlier for regular decision than using the other options (if you applied early December)?

And I have only a 720 M, 690 CR, and 730 W, and 32 ACT, but the Medal award. those stats should be fine right?

And what is the most that you have heard of for scholarships, merit-based only? im in the upper middle class scenario also.

graduation08:
Those SATs will not hurt in any way ;). As long as your other stats are good, then I hope you enjoy receiving thick envelopes.

The biggest merit-based scholarship I know of is 20k, but there could be more.

I got in my stats were math-710 reading-680 writing-690. my gpa was 3.65. i also got 17k merit scholarship. congrats to everyone else who got in

Does anyone know when RD using the candidate's choice application comes out? Thanks!

Hm, it looks like its out, https://www.rpinow.org/secure/8952/preview_app.asp?wcc=rn3

I just went to the admissions page at RPI Admissions: Freshman Application Options

Note that from what I remember it can take a lot longer to receive a decision then they say. My friend got waitlisted and didn't hear back till almost May

We're wondering when the decisions come out for applicants who used Candidate's Choice. Has anyone gotten a non-ED response?

I am a non-ED Candidate's Choice applicant, and I have not received a decision as of 20 seconds ago.
