I have explanations from the CollegeBoard website, so if you don't subscribe, I can paste them here for you.

Format:
Edition - Test Number - Section Number - Question Number

:)
Just trying to be helpful

second edition - practice test 7 - section 3 - 18

thank you. :D

Aren’t the explanations freely accessible?

I might be wrong, but I think you have to subscribe to the SAT Course. Let me find out.

I never subscribed to the Online Course, yet I can access them.

Sorry about that, Silverturtle is correct. If you don’t subscribe to the course, you just have to prove that you own the book. They will give you a prompt like this:

In The Official SAT Study Guide, Go to page 75 of the Official SAT Study Guide™: Second Edition. Find this sentence in the “Keep in Mind” box on the upper right hand corner, “When comparing two passages focus on the__________subject of the question.” Fill in the missing word.

So I’ll post the explanation for the question somebody posted above, but otherwise, sorry for wasting web space.

No problem; your intentions were honorable. The link for the explanations is in the stickied thread.

Here’s the question strawbearries asked about.

Edit: Thanks for understanding my newbieness, silverturtle!

That question looked strikingly familiar, and I figured out why:

College Board is cheap. I had that question on one of my practice tests from the Official SAT Study Guide: 1st Edition. Kinda sad to see that they’re using the same tests in the 2nd edition.

The College Board openly advertises that there are tests common to both books.

Can someone please direct me to the online explanation of the BB. I’m having trouble finding it. THANKS!~

^
Go to [Official SAT Online Course](https://satonlinecourse.collegeboard.com/SR/index.jsp) and on the right hand column there’s a place that says “For Book Owners” and right below that it says “Free reports”. So just sign in there and you should have access.

^ That brings me here https://satonlinecourse.collegeboard.com/SR/home/bookOwnerArea.do?usertype=student&promo=show&fromFirstEdition=yes</a> which is for the first edition. I have second:(.

thanks for the explanation still. : D
i’ll try to use the college board website.
