I'm travelling to MIT's admit weekend on Thursday. MIT made a very generous scholarship offer which basically puts it on an equal footing with my in-state UC's. Dartmouth was also fairly generous. But Columbia offered no scholarship dollars at all, zero, none!

So right now it boils down to MIT vs UC Berkeley for Mechanical Engineering. Or would I prefer the more relaxed environment of Dartmouth or UCSD? Decisions, decisions.

My mom says that I need to consider the ones that are most affordable, my dad on the other hand says I shouldn't think about the money and that we will work it out. I'm going with dad's advice, and picking my favorite :)
