dsctt726,they do.
Don't get worried,anyway.You've done your best,everyone.;)

THANK GOODNESS! Hiline you just made my day!

I dont think I'll be able to concentrate on my chem homework anymore..
720..
I'm still shocked. I dont think i've digested this fact. I've been refreshing the cb site to see if my score's changed! I hope there has been a mistake haha

lol....i did that a few times...hoping the same...what are the chances it happens?

math-760
critical reading-750
writing 730
essay 7 (grosss!)
mult. 78

for m/v i got the EXACT score as my PSAT. My writing dropped 30 points. I think I will retake it to get my writing above 750 and try to get M/V a little closer to 1600. But its tempting to just say im done w/ SAT I forever!

Underestimated Writing & Overestimated Critical Reading to get a score of 2200....

800 Math
700 CriticalReading
700 Writing

Hey, it's a 1500 on the Old SAT's!! :)

Will probably take it again... especially with such simple goals to accomplish!

BREAK 700 ON CR & W NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Congratulations,CoolaTroopa.;)
NoFX,it is the truth striking home ,right? However,it is the truth.Learn to accept it.
dsctt726,I'm glad to hear that.;)

I got a 680 on writing. (essay 9)

It's wierd and so frustrating.. I always got 760-800 in the writing section from the blue collegeboard book..

can anyone help me understand this frustrating mystery??

I know exactly how you feel. Writing was my strongest section on the PSAT and I consistently got good writing scores in the CB as well.

iamdangermouse:first, wait till the comprehensive online score report

Well I'm definitely the lowest on here.

630 CR
680 M
630 W (8 essay...sigh)

So 1310 (m & v) or 1940 all together
Taking this as a sophomore, is it possible to even possibly get this to a 2200? I'm thinking not
Definitely not happy...most of my stats are good for Georgetown. It seems like the SAT will probably be the thing to mess me up.

And I understand about the writing and the Blue book. I got like a 740 or so last time I took it in the blue book, assuming I got like a 9 essay though.

What are you thinking about? You have at least 1 year to retake the SAT.

I have failed....

Writing: 680
Math: 620
Reading: 680

.........there goes my college dreams......:(

I'll be studying abroad junior year in Germany so never speaking any English, my CR/Writing skills will probably drop.

apfreak,I would not be that sure if I were you.Anyway, could you tell me a bit more about your situation?;)
scarolina89,they will not.Have you ever seen an international student with a 2400? ;)

Scarolina89, I'm sure you won't lose your ability to read or reason while in Germany. That's really all you need for CR. Likewise, you won't forget all the grammar rules of Writing nor will you forget how to write. So just take a few practice tests with you and practice throughout the year.

does any1 think i can get into upenn (wharton), nyu (stern), columbia, carnegie mellon, or one of those good b-schools with a 700 on sat 2 math 1...i have a 3.9 UW gpa...taking all the hardest classes i can take

i still havent taken the sat....(i got a 180 psat in the fall, 178 as a sophmore)
aiming for a 2100+ on the sat

AHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS - 2400!
I keep refreshing the site to make sure its true.

CR: 690
M: 740
W: 720 (Essay 12 *** HAHAH!)

my October was 610, 790, 720 -- I only took this to raise CR..AND I DID! This was my second time taking it. so highest is 1480/2200!!!!! I HIT 2200!!!!!!! THIS IS SUCH A SURPRISE.. I EXPECTED A 670 or lower on Writing!
