I took physics and what the heck it was soooo hard. hoping for 720+

I’ve been trying to forget about my scores because thinking about them will just make me more stressed and there’s nooothing I can do about them now :3

haha I remember when I took my regular SATs I was a mess for the 19 days I was waiting for my scores.

Hey DancinggBear, what do you mean the bio was “LOL”? Did you think it was easy? I may have read your posts in another thread, but that was awhile ago, and I don’t feel like searching right now.

Anyway, the main reasons I’m dreading the 28th if I get a bad score (which is highly probable) include that:

a. it’ll ruin my whole day
b. I won’t enjoy Halloween or any of the scary movies on TV because I’ll be too ashamed to be enjoying myself when I should be studying for other tests
c. my parents will be disappointed
d. I will be disappointed
e. my entire summer of preparation will have gone to waste
f. this is my second time taking it
g. I will have close to zero self-confidence
h. this will haunt me when I take future SAT IIs and the SATs
i. I will consider myself an idiot (see g for related content)
j. report cards come out tomorrow so any bad marks on them PLUS a bad SAT II score = serious failures

… and so on and so forth.

Basically, I wish us ALL luck and am honestly hoping really, REALLY, REALLY badly for a good score.

Gosh, what am I going to do in the future? shakes head

I agree with you on points a, c (parents will be HEAVILY disappointed), d (same for me), e, f (third attempt), g, and i.

I’m probably going to die a little when I click “View Scores” on Thursday morning. I hate this. There better be a good curve for Biology or else.

My scores come out on Friday 11:00 A.M. (I’ll wake up and see the scores and if it’s good then wake up my mom, but if not good go back to sleep)

It’s pointless posting this since we’re all hoping it anyway, but good luck to everyone and I hope we all get the scores we want - especially those who are re-taking tests!!!

My mom’s going to ask me for my CB username + p/w to see my score, just like last time.

There’s that awkward silence when my parent sees my score first, but I don’t know what it is yet because I haven’t seen it already. There’s also those last few seconds of hope that quickly die out.

The problem with being in the IB program is that it teaches you to see the “big picture” instead of making you memorize facts and dates…so I got absolutely killed on the history test on questions that were like “What did _________ say about the equal rights movement?” - and then all of the answers are pretty much the same. If you don’t know about that EXACT person, you’re screwed. No dates included or any hints as to the time they lived or anything.

Though I did own the Math I test. SO easy.

First and last time I take any SAT style test. I’d rather take the ACT 4x where your scores aren’t reliant on sheer memorization, and where you can guess without being penalized!

ah im so nervous… i’ve been thinking about it all week!

i took chem, physics, and spanish. and physics and chem were both super hard ugh. i hope the curve is really good! how well i do determines whether im applying to caltech early or not

definitely staying up tonight to check my scores!
