Post Your Schedule

Kind of an offshoot from the credit hour threads, but I figured why not have a thread just to post your schedule? Use whatever format you'd like, but make sure you include major, credit hours and what year you are. Also, if anyone remembers when I mentioned my schedule in an earlier thread (fat chance) I was actually wrong, I only have two days with four classes. Hooray!

Major: Materials Science and Engineering
Hours: 18
Year: Sophomore

Mondays I have Fundamentals of Materials Science from 11:15-12:05, followed by an art class from 12:20 to 1:10, followed by Statics from 1:25 - 2:15. Hooray for triples! To end the day I have English from 4:00-5:15. This day will suck because of all the walking back and forth between my first three classes, but at least I get to sleep in. Also, I won't actually have to go to the art class very often (it's a one credit pass/fail, get above a 60 and its the same as getting a 100) so once things settle down it won't be bad.

Tuesdays I have Physics lecture from 9:30 to 10:45, Urban Public Issues from 12:30 to 1:45 (no idea what it is, but I needed it for a core requirement) and then physics lab from 6:00-7:50. Lab time sucks, but nothing I can really do about it. Other than that not a bad day at all.

Wednesday will be the worst day of the week. It's like monday, but with a physics lecture at 9:05 and no art class. This means I have four classes that I have to go to, starting at 9:05 and ending at 5:15.

Thursday is like tuesday but instead of the physics lab I have an Engineering Writing class from 3:30-5:30. Like tuesday, not a bad day at all, really. A little annoying that I get out so late, but there's plenty of time in between classes.

Friday is my best day. I have the Materials Science class from 11:15 to 12:05 and Statics from 1:25 to 2:15. I made sure I could be over with Friday early because I wanted friday afternoons and evenings to do whatever. Also, it lets me get an early start home when I go home for breaks.

This thread isn't really for critiques of schedules, but if you want people to comment on yours feel free to ask. Mines set in stone so any advice now would be a bit useless. :)

I took a lot more credits last semester, but I'm going a bit easier on it this semester because I'll be going home every couple weekends to work at my town's ambulance garage (I'm an EMT), and I'm also going to try and get involved in some research and volunteering type stuff.

My all science schedule makes me pretty happy, heh. There was one gen ed (philosophy) I was going to take but the class got canceled. Teacher took a position at another university.

Aronomy, I'm not too familiar with the quarter system, but just from a basic standpoint (timing, etc.) that schedule looks great. Done early almost every day, very consistant, time to eat lunch. The only thing I would even look at changing would be to MAYBE move your section F to monday, tuesday or wednesday. If it's only offered on Friday that's obviously not an option. I like to get out of my Friday classes as early as possible so I can go places or whatever. Again, it's just a small nit-picky thing though, your schedule looks great.

Ouch, that's a tough time to have the four hour block too. Cuts into lunch. You gotta do what you gotta do though. At least your tuesday thusday are good. Around midterms though... yikes.

SAGES seminar: MW 12:30-1:45 pm, another time TBD - I'll find out when I move in
PHED 183 (Varsity Swimming)

So basically MWF are hell, with morning practice, all my math/science courses, and my SAGES seminar. I have to eat a super-early lunch before 11:30 am or risk waiting until 3 pm - would the dining halls even be open then?!

Tuesday & Thursday should be nice, just the lab in the morning & then a psych class in the afternoon. Technically if I get my ochem lab without dropping the psych class I'll have 19 credits which may be a bit stupid, but I'm strongly tempted to try it and drop a class later if I need to (as long as it won't show up on my transcript).
