Potential farmer applicants beware!!!

Harvard professors are stealing ****... literally

Which story will have more Google links in the next 24 hours, do you think?

The manure-stealing Harvard perfesser or the strange-tasting drinks served to girls at Princeton?

That's an interesting empirical question you ask there, Byerly. Let's check and see in 24 hours.

(that's a report in an Australian newspaper).

The Harvard story enjoys an early lead in notoriety.

Well, it may just be the Harvard Prestige at work, but I think the Princeton story - while slow off the mark - will gather momentum.

If I'm Yale, I have to be concerned. The rivals are making news just when you're trying to convince applicants that New Haven is a Happenin' Place.

Maybe the grad students could time their strike for Bulldog Days, just to generate a little excitement.

Yale is truly #3

I'm sure that Yale yearns for the opportunity to make news for manure-stealing or sex crimes. :)

Tokenadult, As discussed over at the Princeton site, is there any way to find out how many countries have published the leaked Harvard report that reach China:

<a href="http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:znRWOH2y3FUJ:www.beijingportal.com.cn/7838/2005/03/31/1820%402576112.htm+%22Harvard%27s+overall+student+satisfaction+comes+out+to+3.95%22&hl=en%5B/url%5D">http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:znRWOH2y3FUJ:www.beijingportal.com.cn/7838/2005/03/31/1820%402576112.htm+%22Harvard%27s+overall+student+satisfaction+comes+out+to+3.95%22&hl=en</a></p>

It would be interesting to see the breath of coverage on all three of these stories as well.

And here I was worried that my Harvard professors next year wouldn't take any s**t...

One can only speculate as to whether the prof in question was supplying the entire faculty, or gathering supplies purely for his personal use. ;)

Can you imagine the quotes that are going to come out of this. For example,
"Yeah, I always knew Prof. W was full of S**t."

Apparently - like the Princeton grad student - the Harvard perfesser is a serial offender!

Is Larry Summers able to turn the screws on this professor to save the honor of economics research?
