I’m a premed student at a top 25 school who is considering transferring to Georgetown. Some aspects of Georgetown seem pretty similar to my current school, so I’m not sure if transferring there will fix my problems.
Here is what I don’t like about my current school:
- The campus is small. The institution is medium-sized but the size of the campus itself is small and there are not many meal places/places to hang out on campus in general.
- No school spirit at all whatsoever, so not much to do on weekends besides go to frat parties. (I’m not a partier)
- It’s really isolated (like 45 minutes outside of the city). There’s no nearby neighborhoods with restaurants either.
- Not the best courses offered (very plain courses; a lot of my friends at bigger schools have a larger variety of interesting courses)
I know Georgetown has a similarly small campus, but do you think transferring there would fix my problems? Thanks for any help.
