HAHAHAHAHAH it totally asterisked w i s t f u l out. That makes me giggle inside.

Hey guys, I just noticed. The Princeton 2010 Board has over twice as many posts as any other Ivy 2010 Board on CC! What a lively group we are! ;)

glinda: I know!!!! I noticed that as well. We are VERY lively group. :D Makes me proud to be a Ptonian (even if I'd be proud anyways). ;)

Ooh! I'm bringing the 2003 version of P&P with Kam Heskin and Orlando Seale! :) It's a little different and a bit cheesy, but I think you'll like it. And it add yet a couple more hours to the marathon :D

I rather want to join the ballroom dancing club/team, never mind that all I know are salsa and tango (and not very well, at that). Anyone want to come along?

`Do not you feel a great inclination, Miss Bennet, to seize such an opportunity of dancing a reel?' She smiled, but made no answer. He repeated the question, with some surprise at her silence. Oh!' said she, I heard you before; but I could not immediately determine what to say in reply. You wanted me, I know, to say Yes, that you might have the pleasure of despising my taste; but I always delight in overthrowing those kind of schemes, and cheating a person of their premeditated contempt. I have therefore made up my mind to tell you that I do not want to dance a reel at all and now despise me if you dare.' Indeed I do not dare.'

edit: I actually never knew what s t f u stood for until a couple of months ago, when I noticed that it was starred out on CC. :o

Anything that adds to the marathon = good.

"... now despise me if you dare." Ah! I love that line.

frozen: I'll tag along if they take clumsy-footed beginners.

sky9073: I agree. I haven't done any sort of dancing since 9th grade. 0.o

I do a sort of ... "move to the music" dance ... and I can do a box step! I can totally do a box step to a waltz!

Can we blow off classes and spend our first week in a self-indulgent haze of movies, scones, and clumsy dancing?

I would but, alas, my conscience would beat me to a pulp if I ditched classes. Hmm...decisions: My conscience screwing me over or P^5 + dancing....a very tough, tough decision. :D

I love the 2003 version! Orlando Seale's another hottie Darcy... I'm glad to see you contributing to the part-ay, frozen.

I once had a boyfriend who taught me to waltz, so that's some dancing... other than that, I do a lot of pointe-shoes-and-tutu ballet and rolling-in-brown-unitards-modern, but I'm pretty sure you'd never catch Elizabeth Bennet doing that. Haha. We'll get by with our clumsy dancing, though. All the funner. (Yes, I do say funner. It just sounds more good. Haahahahahahah).

And out of curiosity... I just need to try this. Forgive me:

wi****l.

HAHAHA! It does asterisk it.

No way.

Let's try r e s t f u l

Re****l

Ah, we easily amuzed Princetonians.

Well, here's a slightly more edgy one!

lu****l

OooOOOoooh ...

I want to try!

ze****l.

bahahaha.

no, no, the green one.

Ahh!!! I can't get that line out of my head! Now can a truly loyal PPer tell me when it's said and by who? :)

I wish I could. :(

BBC version, Mr. Darcy choosing a jacket.

Wow, I can't believe I just answered that.

yea, glinda!

So, did any P^5ers get to go to April Hosting? I was ED, so I didn't get to go. How did you all like it?

I wanted to go, but we had Quiz Bowl State on Saturday ... le sigh. I hope it was fun for everyone who did go!

Sad. How did your Quiz Bowl states go? I do Academic Team and it's like my biggest passion aside from Austen... and Potter... and museums... and ballet.... well, one of my biggest passions, anyway.

same with me and my beloved Knowledge Bowl :)
