Practice PSAT 2011-What Did You Think?

What did you think about it? What were your scores (don't have to post them if you don't want to).

I thought it was kinda hard. Or maybe its me, and the fact that I haven't practiced too much due to schoolwork. My scores were as follows:

Math: 65
Reading: 51
Writing: 63

Also, do you think that the real thing next week will be harder, the same, or easier then this?

I took the 2010 PSAT Practice test last night and got a 65-77-77 (8 wrong, 1 wrong, 1 wrong). The curves are insane on that one lol. I’ll take the 2011 one tonight and post here again.

Math: 75
Reading: 63
Writing: 65

The curves are insane dude! But overall, it was pretty easy.

Ah, cool! Anyone else?

Does anyone have the tests? I’ll report my results if someone can pm them to me… :/

I took the 2011 practice PSAT a few weeks ago. My scores have since improved. But here are my scores, since you asked :):

CR: 72
M: 70
W: 65 (lol wut)

Your guidance counselor should have a copy of the test.

I got a CR: 68 ( :frowning: ), Math: 74, and Writing: 73. That curve is intense. Too bad that score is 2-3 points away from NM in my state. I’ll take another one tomorrow and hope to be better on Wednesday!

Maan I’m a sophomore but i missed exactly 9 in each section I have like a 177 >_<

I’m feeling okay about the test. I got CR:65, Math:71, and Writing 68. I felt as though I could have been a little bit slower overall and improved. The math section frustrated me this time. I messed up reading two questions and answered for something different than what was asked. Number 20 in the math I felt was a bit subjective. Can’t multiple points have the exact same coordinates?

What are the answers for math? I lost my answer sheet.

Missed 2 on CR and missed 2 on writing also.

Scratch that found them. missed 2 on section 2… always the hard questions.

[2010 PSAT/NMSQT Practice Test Explanations](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Studying and Practicing for the PSAT/NMSQT – SAT Suite) or just google practice psat 2011 answers or something like that

it says 2010 but its actually the 2011 one

I got a CR 69, Math 73, and Writing 65; composite of 207, nowhere near the 220-225 I’m looking for. (Then again, I rushed myself taking this test and last year my official result was 14 points higher than my practice, so perhaps I have hope…)

Wow, this practice was much more difficult than previous official tests. Specifically the Math and Writing sections :frowning: ! For those that took the Wednesday test, how did this compare?

Compared to the practice test, I believe that:

CR: was much harder.
M: was about equal if not easier.
W: was about equal if not easier.

I think I performed much better on the test.
Can someone post the the curves on this test? Just to about -4 for each? I lost my practice test D:

CR: 80, 80, 77, 76, 74, 72, 70
This seems really generous  If the curve on the actual one is more generous than this, I’ll start crying in joy.

M: 80, 79, 75, 73, 71, 70, 68
I like this one too :D!

W: 80, 78, 73, 72, 70, 68, 65
Ouch… :/

Why is writing so easy? I though it was a little harder than average.
And yes, I’ll be crying if these are the actual curves. No joke! (:

Thanks, by the way.

the curve is amazing, until the writing,

^^The one on the 2011 practice test? Haha and no problem. It was sitting right next to me :D
