Hi,
I just took a SSAT practice test for preparation for my real test in October. I wanted to know how similar the SSAT practice test are to the real ones. For clarification, I mean the upper level test. Also, how are these scores for the more selective schools like Andover and Exeter.
Raw Score Math: 50/50 99 percentile 800
Raw Score Reading: 35/40 94 percentile 720
Raw Score Verbal: 43/60 (According to the sheet it is somewhere between 87-94 percentile, but probably around 91 because it was based on raw scores between 40 and 45.This is a score of 725-750)
Adding this all together gets us a total score of 2250 at the lowest.
How’s this score and how can I improve the vocab, and should I focus all on vocab or vocab and reading for preparation.
The stats were based on 8th grade standards from this link: http://downloads.ivyglobal.com/ssat/upper_test_1/ssat_upper_level_test_answers.pdf
Not sure if it’s accurate though, but thanks!
