Pratt or Risd Architecture?

Hello!

I have a couple days left to make my final decision between Pratt and Risd for my
first year undergrad!
I've asked around about the two, visited both of their accepted students open houses
and I still am very confused!

Pratt's first year for architecture starts off with architecture materials - the students'
majors are chosen before you start the year, while in RISD your first year mainly consists of art studio classes, art history etc... giving the students an opportunity to explore their interests further.

Their campuses are very different - Risd's is absolutely beautiful - but because it's in rhode island I feel as I will be secluded from the rest of the world and that I might get sick of it despite its gorgeous campus!

Pratt's campus is in brooklyn - not as nice as Risd's but not bad - its a little boring for me to be honest
(i heard that it gets incredibly hot in the summer to the point that you cannot concentrate during class and that air conditioning is only available in freshmen dorms- is this true? )
but its in New York and nyc is nearby so I believe the mediocre campus can be compensated by that.

What i'm really uncertain is how much their programs differ,
the financial aid availability for international students,
how their dorms differ
internship and career after college education

please inform me about the program at these schools as much as possible!
Thank you so much !!!

well I can’t personally give you that much advice but to say that Pratt isn’t exactly in the heart of what you might think of as NYC (Manhattan), meaning you will be in Brooklyn most of the time seeing as how a commute to anywhere else would take 30-40 minutes, which is definitely time you don’t have as an architecture student. As a cooper student I hear good things about RISD and how there program may be on the rise

-on the other hand Brooklyn Pizza far outweighs the many dunkin’ donut shops of Providence.
